Education:

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Chemical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering or related field from a reputed University.

• Age At least 23 years

• Strong passion for scientific research, innovation, and technology development.

• Demonstrated commitment to pursuing postgraduate studies (M.Sc./M.Eng. and/or Ph.D.) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) while actively contributing to the 3BIC research program.

• Strong commitment to serving Bangladesh by contributing to the development, incubation, commercialization, and national deployment of indigenous Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) waste-to-fuel technology.

• Applicants must be willing to devote themselves to the project throughout the contractual period and are expected to remain actively engaged with the 3BIC research activities until the project completion in June 2028.

• High motivation to conduct internationally competitive research leading to publications in high-impact journals and patents.

• Willingness to participate in laboratory research, pilot-plant operation, technology incubation, industrial collaboration, and scientific publication.Excellent teamwork, scientific writing, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment with high professional and ethical standards.

The Bangladesh Biorefinery & Biocrude Innovation Center (3BIC), under the UGC HEAT Sub-Project 13733 (Window 3a), is pioneering the development of next-generation Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) technology for sustainable waste-to-fuel conversion. The project combines frontier scientific research with technology incubation and commercialization to establish scalable HTL solutions. Through this initiative, 3BIC aims to accelerate national energy security, promote import substitution, and position Bangladesh as a leader in sustainable biorefinery technologies.
