Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide technical and management support in the organizational development of the Self-help Group business, IIGA and team management to ensure effective project implementation
∎ Lead the capacity strengthening upazila team to develop and increase off/on farm production to support sustainable rural economic growth
∎ Reactivate Self Help Group (SHG) business, ensuring their effective operation and alignment with project goals
∎ Coordinate with stakeholders to make availability the required quality inputs in the upazila
∎ Oversee the implementation of project activities at the Upazila level in alignment with the project’s goals and objectives
∎ Ensure timely and efficient execution of project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting
∎ Liaise with Upazila-level government officials, local authorities, and community leaders to ensure smooth project execution
∎ Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project guidelines and donor requirements
∎ Prepare comprehensive project implementation plans, including monthly budget breakdowns and budget tracking systems
∎ Conduct regular SHG visits, monitor demo plot; nursery; lead farmers and develop climate adoptive tools practice
∎ Coordination with market linkage activities and support buyers with producers or suppliers to ensure quality product
∎ Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule
∎ Perform risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimize project-related risks
∎ Track and evaluate project performance to ensure the successful completion of both short- and long-term goals
∎ Promote and ensure adherence to safeguarding policies within the team, integrating safeguarding standards in all project activities
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure for any reportable incidents and encourage team members to do the same
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
