Job Context:
∎ Mission Statement: Under the operational supervision of the Project Manager and the Deputy Project Manager, the Senior Project Officer manages Education team providing services to communities living in camps and host communities and oversees the Technical aspect of Inclusive Education.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Training and Material Development (Inclusive Education)
∎ Design and facilitate teachers training on inclusive education
∎ Communicate with relevant partner organizations and officials for organizing training and obtain necessary approval
∎ Internal staff capacity building on Inclusive Education
∎ Planning and development of Inclusive Teaching Learning Materials and Modules to be printed
∎ 2. Supervision, management of team and Coordination
∎ Close management of team (Inclusive Education officers), including supervision and coaching
∎ Ensure proper communication, coordination, and information sharing, providing the link between team and the Deputy/ Project manager
∎ Identify weaknesses, challenges, and strengths of the team and provide concrete solutions and capacity building to address these issues
∎ Organize the daily, weekly, and monthly planning and objectives of his/her team regarding education activities.
∎ Under the responsibility and upon delegation of the Deputy Project Manager, ensure team is coordinating with partner humanitarian organizations and volunteers in a harmonized professional manner
∎ Identify opportunities for possible internal and external coordination and notify Deputy/ Project Manager
∎ Ensure the proper orientation and follow up to the team and the volunteers on protection issues in direct link with the technical unit, how to engage with beneficiaries, especially with children, adolescent and women, in line with HI and donor PSEA, child protection and other relevant policies
∎ 3. Monitoring, Documentation and Reporting
∎ Ensure team is collecting data properly in the field
∎ Ensure the HI quality standards in all documentation and event reports
∎ Ensure the gathering and consolidation the mapping of services
∎ Ensure that the team is strictly following internal and external referral pathway, and record the referrals accordingly
∎ Ensure that team members are strictly follow HI data protection and protocols
∎ Work closely with MEAL to review and monitor/ evaluate the project database
∎ Ensure the archiving of all documentation and relevant materials on the base following the procedures established by HI.
∎ 4. Safety and security
∎ Act as security focal point of his/her team and timely report security related information to his/her security focal point in priority, letting also the line Manager know about security
∎ Provide regular security and context updates to line manager
∎ Ensure that safety and security procedures are understood by the team and implemented in the field.
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed term
∎ Duration of the Contract: Up to April 2020 (with possibility of extension)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 65 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge & experience required
∎ Essential
∎ At least 2 years work experience with 1 year proven experience in the same sector
∎ Excellent facilitation and documentation skills (designing/ facilitation of training, report and communication)
∎ Computer knowledge (MS office package- both in English and Bangla);
∎ Desirable
∎ Experience INGO experience
∎ Experience in disability and education
∎ Experience with Rohingya Refugee
∎ Skills required
∎ Essential
∎ Able to work in emergency conditions
∎ Good analyzing skill
∎ Strong team-work approach
∎ Communication skills in verbal and written Bangla and English
∎ Knowledge of disability and development issues in Bangladesh
∎ Sensitized on issue related child protection, protection of gender based violence etc.
∎ Desirable
∎ Experienced in Humanitarian Context, preferably in the field of Emergency
∎ Experience working in multidisciplinary context
∎ Knowledge of Chittagonian / Rohingya language is a strong asset

Salary: Tk. 79000 - 82500 (Monthly)
