Senior Project Officer- Center In Charge’ will be working as the skills center in charge and looking after all aspects of the skills training and training center in assigned camps, and facilitating quality skills development training among the project participants. This position also leads volunteer and participant management, supports coordination with CiC offices, and ensures compliance with administrative and financial procedures in line with project objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day operations, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management of the skills training centers
Support the development of training plans, session plans, learning materials, and organize skills training according to approved modules.
Recruit volunteers, maintain participant records, and support documentation throughout the training process.
Monitor participant learning, ensure training quality, and support successful completion and certification.
Provide safeguarding, PSEA, and CFRM awareness sessions weekly to the participants.
Coordinate monthly payments for volunteers, participants, laborers, and other operational expenses while ensuring proper documentation.
Prepare daily and weekly reports, contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities, and support evidence-based project decision-making.
Build strong relationships with communities, coordinate with government authorities (CiCs), NGOs, donors, and represent BRAC in coordination meetings.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
