The role of Senior Project Officer- Market Linkage is primarily to facilitate the self and wage employment of the skills graduates and to work with other stakeholders in the camps that are relevant to those tasks under the guidance of Specialist- Entrepreneurship Development.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish market linkages and partnerships to facilitate wage and self-employment opportunities for skills graduates.
Lead participant selection for vocational training, recruit and manage volunteers, and maintain all related documentation.
Design and support sustainable livelihood and business initiatives, providing technical guidance and entrepreneurship support to self-employed graduates.
Build and maintain relationships with employers, organizations, landowners, and other stakeholders to expand employment and livelihood opportunities.
Process payments (volunteers, trainees, laborers, utilities, rent), support contract management, and ensure proper administrative compliance.
Track employment outcomes, maintain databases, conduct regular field monitoring, prepare reports, and provide career counseling to participants.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
