The role:

• The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) oversees project management, including financial oversight, compliance, and effective coordination with thematic and programme management heads. They promote safe programming in collaboration with sector leads, advisors, and managers, ensuring community participation influences programme decisions. This role fosters a partnership approach and adheres to feminist principles with a keen awareness of power dynamics. Additionally, the SPO coordinates and collaborates closely with other projects and technical teams, including WASH, gender, protection, and MEAL teams, to ensure integrated programme delivery.

• As per Oxfam National D1 pay band, the starting annual salary for this role is BDT1,462,326.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
