Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager (Shelter/NFI) and overall supervision of the Emergency Coordinator (EC) in Cox's Bazar and in coordination with the relevant unit the incumbent will assist the concern programme unit for implementation of the programme.
∎ 1. In coordination with the Shelter/NFI Programme Manager, assist in the management of the cycle of Shelter/NFI pipeline activities including assessment/verification, coordination, distribution, reporting, and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM).
∎ 2. In coordination with IOM Procurement Unit, Supply chain and Warehouse Logistic Officer, track and maintain the pipeline stock and take timely action to distribute to stock to the partners.
∎ 3. In coordination with Programme Manager and Shelter Sector Coordinator, asses and verify partner requests and coordinate the distribution of approved materials to partners.
∎ 4. Prepare implementation agreements/amendments and necessary documents, in coordination with IOM Resource Management Unit, including arranging both IOM and partner signatures.
∎ 5. Conduct regular distribution monitoring at partner distribution sites and provide constructive feedback and recommendations through the Programme Manager.
∎ 6. Receive and respond to partners complaints and queries, and provide regular feedback to the Programme Manager and Sector Coordinator for the overall improvement of the pipeline strategy.
∎ 7. Provide capacity building and backstopping support to partners in the context of effective use of IOM's pipeline assistance.
∎ 8. Closely work with the Programme Support Unit to conduct Post Distribution Monitoring of both IOM and partner distribution activities and share the findings and feedback both with IOM and partners.
∎ 9. Promote and facilitate the integration of cross-cutting issues such as environment, gender, children, Gender Based Violence (GBV) and other vulnerable groups in the selection of partners.
∎ 10. Ensure IOM and donor visibility in both IOM and partner distribution.
∎ 11. Participate in Shelter/NFI Sector meetings and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders. Take minutes of meetings and keep track of those meetings for filing and reporting purposes.
∎ 12. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

∎ Experience in Shelter/NFI distribution
∎ Demonstrated ability to work with partners in emergency contexts
∎ Experience in logistic/warehouse management is an added advantage
