∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, and knowledge management with a specialized focus on content development and ability to produce a wide range of communication materials.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including storytelling and persuasive writing
∎ Proficient in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.· Commitment to the organization's mission, values, and communication approaches.
∎ Experience in facilitating youth-led initiatives and association with youth-led organizations, or networks will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and edit content in English and Bengali for online and print (IEC) materials, i.e. annual reports, newsletters, case studies, audio-visual materials, etc.
∎ Create compelling content for organizational promotion and campaigns for various communication channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and press release.
∎ Support the knowledge management system ensuring accurate and timely documentation of program activities, success stories, and best practices.·
∎ Support the implementation and delivery of social media strategy through research, design, scheduling, posting, and community management
∎ Assists in designing and constructing new sections and pages, and in posting content to the websites to maintain website and editorial standards.· Implement strategies for internal and external knowledge sharing, facilitating learning across teams and with external stakeholders.
∎ Supports outreach initiatives to raise visibility and media interest in the work of WAVE
∎ Work with various departments to gather updates, achievements, and information for internal newsletters or announcements.
∎ Management and documentation of organizational email correspondence, i.e. timely review, course of actions and response to donor and stakeholder correspondences.
∎ Provide communication support for organizational events, conferences, and campaigns.
