Experience:

• 4 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Optometry

Training or certification in cornea or low vision will be considered an advantage.

• Age 24 to 35 years

• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability.

• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Computer literacy is required.

1. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, contact lens assessment, and visual function tests.

2. Perform specialized assessments for corneal conditions and low vision patients.

3. Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and low vision aids; provide patient counseling and rehabilitation guidance.

4. Assist ophthalmologists in diagnostic and pre/post-operative procedures.

5. Operate and maintain optometric and diagnostic equipment.

6. Supervise junior optometrists, technicians, and support staff when required.

7. Ensure proper documentation of patient records and reports.

8. Maintain quality assurance and patient safety standards.

9. Participate in outreach programs and eye camps if assigned.
