Job Summary : The Transport Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s Mixture and Dump Trucks. This role involves managing drivers, ensuring vehicle maintenance, monitoring vehicle movements, coordinating deliveries, and handling all transport-related activities. The officer will ensure that all transportation tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations· The main responsibilities are :         

• Oversee the daily operations of Mixture and Dump Trucks.       

• Execute & monitor regular transport schedule·        

• Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained and serviced regularly to prevent breakdowns.

• Conduct routine checkup of all vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.      

• Supervise the activities of drivers and helpers to ensure they adhere to schedules, routes, and safety standards.    

• Maintain driver rosters and allocate trucks as per operational requirements.     

• Monitor driver behavior, including driving habits, working hours, and compliance with traffic laws.     

• Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure timely transportation of materials.       

• Ensure all trucks have valid insurance, route permits, and are compliant with local transport regulations.      

• Maintain accurate logs of truck operations, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and driver details.     

• Prepare and submit regular reports on transport activities, vehicle performance, fuel usage to authorized person·      

• If necessary coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance schedules with the workshop.      

• Ensure proper documentation of vehicle repairs, services, and parts replacement.    

• Any task Assigned by supervisor.
