Bachelor’s in any discipline; Environmental Science preferred.

• 3+ years in waste management, store, or production support.

• Training: Basic hazardous waste handling (DoE/ILO).

Purpose Of The Position
Execute daily waste collection, segregation, weighing, and dispatch to minimize landfill cost and maximize scrap recovery under compliance.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Supervise daily collection of production waste from all floors and departments.

• Ensure waste is segregated at source into 6+ categories as per SOP.

• Operate weighing scale and record net weight for each waste type.

• Coordinate with buyers for timely scrap lifting and payment receipt.

• Maintain a daily waste movement register with photos.

• Identify cross-contamination of hazardous waste with general waste.

• Train helper staff on safe handling of sharp or chemical waste.

• Monitor storage area cleanliness and pest control weekly.

• Prepare daily waste summary report for Manager review.

• Support internal and external waste audits with physical counts.
