Masters on Social Science or any relevant subjects with minimum 3.00 out of 4 scale from a reputed university.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, gender, training, documentation, or capacity development.
Experience in humanitarian or development programmes and field-based work is an advantage.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, PSEA, and organisational prevention approaches.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and capacity development practices.
Excellent documentation, report writing, and information management skills.
Training facilitation and material development skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
Basic data management and analysis skills relevant to training and MEAL support.

Job Purpose: The Senior Officer, Training and Documentation will play as a key role in strengthening BRAC`s safeguarding system by supporting the design, delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement of safeguarding and PSEA training initiatives. This role focuses primarily on developing high-quality training content, maintaining robust safeguarding documentation and supporting limited MEAL-related activities to track training coverage and learning outcomes, ensuring safeguarding standards are consistently understood and applied across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Safeguarding Training And Capacity Development
Support the development, review, and updating of safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, SEA/SH, workplace conduct, and related training modules, materials, and facilitator guides.
Assist in planning and delivering safeguarding orientation, refresher trainings, and awareness sessions for staff, management, volunteers, partners, and programme participants, both in-person and online.
Coordinate training logistics, schedules, participant lists, and learning materials in collaboration with programmes and support services.
Support Training of Trainers (ToT) initiatives and facilitate selected sessions as required.
Contribute to the development of IEC, BCC, and awareness materials (print, audio-visual, and digital) related to safeguarding.
Maintain a central record of all safeguarding training activities conducted across programmes and locations.
Documentation And Knowledge Management
Develop, organise, and maintain a comprehensive and confidential documentation system for safeguarding-related materials, including policies, procedures, SOPs, training resources, reports, and learning products.
Ensure timely, accurate, and standardised documentation of training activities, field visits, meetings, and safeguarding initiatives.
Support the preparation of internal and donor reports, briefs, presentations, and knowledge products related to safeguarding training and capacity development.
Archive safeguarding documents in line with organisational data protection, confidentiality, and record-retention requirements.
Support initiatives to capture lessons learned, good practices, and case examples from safeguarding training and field implementation.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability And Learning
Support basic MEAL activities related to safeguarding training, including maintaining training databases and tracking participation, coverage, and completion rates.
Assist with pre- and post-training assessments, participant feedback collection, and analysis to assess learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
Contribute to periodic reviews of safeguarding capacity development initiatives by compiling data, analysing trends, and documenting findings.
Support field visits, spot checks, and follow-up actions related to safeguarding training implementation and awareness.
Coordination And Support To Safeguarding Systems
Coordinate closely with programme teams, safeguarding focal points, and partners to ensure alignment of training and documentation processes.
Support the review and updating of safeguarding tools, guidelines, and SOPs, particularly those related to training and prevention.
Assist in organising safeguarding campaigns, observance days, discussion sessions, and learning events.
Perform any other duties related to safeguarding training and documentation as assigned by the supervisor
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
