Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct independent Financial Monitoring of partners at the field level for checking, verifying and coaching the relevant personnel
∎ Preparing the report based on Financial Monitoring visits of partners at the field level
∎ Arranging and coordinating respective personnel for exit meetings of Financial Monitoring and giving feedback and follow-up
∎ Desk review of Partner's financial reports
∎ Recording and preserving all the Partners reports both hard copies and soft copies on a synchronized basis
∎ Provide technical support to PNGOs' staff as needed
∎ Assist in the staff management and capacity development of partner organizations
∎ Support in preparing the partner payments (advance) and fund reconciliation
∎ Ensure the partners are complying with all donor and BRAC policies and procedures
∎ Proactively support the identification of compliance risks of partners, advise on the necessary measures, and thus support the risk management
∎ Support the team in capacity building of partners
∎ Assist the Supervisor in conducting the monthly learning sessions
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Senior officer-Sub Grants in his/her capacity supports the Deputy Manager/ Manager, Sub Grants in the areas of partner NGOs management, capacity building and support of partners, and assist of checking financial reports, conducting independent partners’ financial monitoring and evaluation. The position ensures quality services to implementing partners in line with BRAC Policies and Procedures
