Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The ideal candidate should have extensive experience implementing monitoring systems and designing monitoring tools.
∎ S/he should be adept at developing data collection tools and guiding the monitoring of project activities, outputs, and progress toward anticipated results.
∎ S/he should also be comfortable working with data platforms, databases, and select technologies to capture and organize data.
∎ As the Head of MEL, you will be responsible for Supporting the Executive Director in strategic decisions and assessments, guiding the Program and M&E team, supporting projects, program clusters, and organizations in strengthening their M&E systems, designing and developing reporting formats, Leading the Change Management and Evaluation Process, Implementing M&E policy and strategies, and Promoting organizational learning and knowledge sharing.
∎ The position is based in Dhaka, but at least 50% of the time will be spent traveling outside Dhaka to a remote location in Bangladesh.
