Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or relevant discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop software using Laravel framework.
∎ Code optimization and performance improvements.
∎ Host in Linux environment and shell command line.
∎ Develop, design and maintain Database (MySQL,Microsoft SQL,PostgreSQL)
∎ Contribute in implementing UCEP Bangladesh's values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ Assess ICT requirements for effective and efficient program and business management of UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ Develop and maintain necessary capacity based on approved training plan of relevant staff in relation to effective and efficient usage of ICT related programmes and services.
∎ Contribute to conduct risk assessment systematically and ensure highest level security, integrity and confidentiality in regard to all ICT related organizational (central and regional level) systems, related programmes and services including data management, storage, archiving and reporting.
∎ Provide technical support to all departments (central and regional level) based on a result based annual plan and other support as and when required.
∎ Improve and maintain quality of ICT related services by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
∎ Ensure ethical requirements and legal compliances in ICT related issues.
∎ Contribute to managing websites of UCEP Bangladesh in regards to ICT related programmes.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ Maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
∎ Carry out other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum BSc in Computer Science and Engineering / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or relevant discipline.
∎ 4 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year as a senior level software developer in a large organization.
∎ At least 3 completed live professional projects (university projects are not acceptable).
∎ Expert on the OOP concept.
∎ Competent with revision control systems (Git).
∎ Sound knowledge of RDBMS like MySQL.
∎ JavaScript and Bootstrap (expert)
∎ MySQL Database (expert)
∎ Good knowledge and skills on Front-End Design (required).
∎ Excellent command of communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with latest ICT related hardware and software.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable and capable of working with team.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
