Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in identifying and responding to funding opportunities through the preparation of concept notes and proposals in coordination with programme and other support teams.
∎ Support the team in developing technical proposals, in line with BRAC HCMP standards and donor requirements.
∎ Contribute in internal review and approval processes, including due diligence and go/no-go decision-making.
∎ Draft, review, and edit periodic donor reports and project completion reports based on inputs from programme and M&E teams.
∎ Ensure timely submission of reports and donor communications in compliance with donor guidelines and sector standards.
∎ Develop and maintain basic project information, reporting schedule in coordination with programme and other support teams.
∎ Support the development of knowledge products and thematic briefs to promote programme achievements.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Senior Officer, PDDR will support the fundraising and programme development efforts of PDDR, BRAC HCMP. This role involves contributing to the design and documentation of new and ongoing projects, supporting in development of technical proposals, concept notes, and donor reports, and supporting to develop knowledge management. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and the ability to coordinate across teams for effective resource mobilisation and reporting.
