Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably BSc. in Textile) from a reputed university

• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising in the RMG industry

• A Diploma in Apparel Merchandising is preferred

• Knowledge of garments product, sample development, cost analysis, and quality assurance

• Good analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skill

• Skills in report writing and presentation

• Develop sample as per the requirements of Aarong Design department

• Receive job (production) order with the sample from Aarong Merchandising department

• Collect pattern and consumption of fabric from the Pattern room as per job order

• Prepare product costing as per the sample and take approval from Aarong Merchandising department

• Place the production order and ensure raw materials & accessories to the production centers

• Take approval of the pre-production samples from the Design department

• Prepare yearly production plan and ensure timely production

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation

• Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
