Master’s degree from a recognised university/institution with a major in Finance, Accounting, Law or any relevant discipline.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant field, with required experience in Finance, Accounts, or Audit.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite.
Skilled in transcribing with Bijoy/Avro software.
Understanding on Safeguarding, and Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, and Abuse (PSHEA) standards.
Knowledgeable about national labor law and related regulations.
Ability to travel anywhere in Bangladesh.

Job Purpose
The Senior Officer will handle and resolve complaints by conducting fair and thorough inquiries in line with organisational policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines. This role also involves collecting evidence, interviewing stakeholders, and analysing policies while ensuring confidentiality, due process, and procedural integrity.

Key Responsibilities
Review assigned complaints to assess risks and identify key issues for investigation.
Develop an inquiry plan with checklists, questionnaires, interviewees, and required documents/evidence.
Engage with concerned personnel to secure support and cooperation during the process.
Conduct inquiries in line with procedures, SOPs, HRPP, and policies while ensuring strict confidentiality.
Interview parties and witnesses, collect and verify evidence, and maintain proper records with signatures.
Prepare and submit inquiry reports (preliminary and final), issue/show cause notices, and support review hearings.
Present findings to the SGMC forum and Ombudsperson, ensuring fair hearing and informed decision-making.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
