  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth practical knowledge on Budgeting, Billing process for events or workshops
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with reporting and documentation in both English and Bangla.

Job Summary:

The Senior Officer, Workshop Engagement will be responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, and delivering career-related workshops, training, and capacity-building sessions for youth, job seekers, and students. The role requires strong facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and event management skills with Financial & Procurement knowledge to ensure impactful learning experiences and high engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, plan, and implement workshops, seminars, and interactive learning sessions tailored to the needs of beneficiaries (e.g. CV writing, interview skills, entrepreneurship, and soft skills).

● Coordinate with universities, training providers, and industry partners for scheduling and hosting workshops.

● Facilitate sessions or manage external facilitators/trainers, ensuring quality and alignment with program goals.

● Maintain regular communication with participants, ensure attendance, gather feedback, and support follow-up actions.

● Support content development and adapt workshop materials to local contexts and participant needs.

● Ensure timely documentation of each engagement including reports, feedback summaries, and success stories.

● Monitor participation trends and assess the impact of workshops on participants’ career readiness.

● Collaborate with the communications team to promote workshop activities and success stories.

● Budget planning and procurement related to workshop logistics and materials.

● Contribute to continuous improvement of engagement strategies based on participant feedback and evolving needs.

● Liaise with vendors, venues, and service providers to coordinate event logistics including catering, transport, audio-visuals, and materials.

● Prepare event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery within approved financial limits.

● Maintain inventory and manage procurement of event materials and supplies.

● Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety protocols during event execution.

● Prepare post-event reports including feedback, lessons learned, and documentation of best practices.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

● Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

● Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

● Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
