∎
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Senior Officer- Compliance, Grants is mainly responsible for ensuring the donor requirements based on the agreement, donor guidelines, policies, etc. This position will also be responsible for supporting to ensure NGOAB compliance, relevant laws, regulations and BRAC Finance policies, HR Policies, etc. This role will facilitate collaboration with various departments within the organisation to implement donor compliance and procedures. This position has a critical role within the organisation for the donor-funded projects, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the organisation's donor-funded projects are compliant with donor requirements, as well as with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
∎ • Support in Monitoring and analysing operational and financial compliance-related issues for effective internal controls and risk management.
∎ • Maintain donor compliance database related to the organisation's donor-funded projects and disseminate key compliance issues in a timely manner.
∎ • Maintain and update the Grants Management System in a timely manner according to the BRAC’s Grants Management Policy.
∎ • Coordinate capacity-building sessions/meetings on donor compliance for the Compliance Focal Person and relevant stakeholders.
∎ • Facilitate review of donors’ agreements, raise concerns in case of conflict with the donor’s condition and facilitate signing process.
∎ • Maintain the Grants KPI trackers and ensure documentation.
∎ • Maintain Donor Audit and Spot Check tracker and follow-up implementation of the recommendation.
∎ • Support to develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs to staff, partners, and other stakeholders..
∎ • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of donor regulations and requirements, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
∎ • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
