Responsibilities & Context:

1. Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Execute local and international procurement of raw materials, packaging items, spare parts, and services.
  • Negotiate with vendors for pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
  • Maintain updated supplier database and ensure compliance with company policies.

2. Production Planning & Material Management

  • Prepare monthly/weekly production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity.
  • Monitor material availability and ensure timely issuance to production.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing flow.
  • Optimize inventory to reduce stock-out risks and minimize excess/obsolete materials.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

  • Monitor stock levels using ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support annual physical inventory.
  • Analyze slow-moving, non-moving, and high-value items for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with warehouse for FIFO/FEFO practice and storage efficiency.

4. Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage transport schedules, freight charges, delivery lead times, and logistics service providers.
  • Ensure timely delivery to customers and inter-departmental units.

5. Commercial & Documentation

  • Handle commercial activities including LC/TT opening, import documentation, HS code classification, customs clearance, and banking correspondence.
  • Prepare shipment documents (PI, PO, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO etc.).
  • Track and verify import duties, VAT, AIT, port charges, and other cost components.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (Customs, BSTI, NBR, etc.).

6. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform supply chain data analysis for cost optimization, demand forecasting, vendor performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Excel/Power BI/ERP for management review.
  • Monitor KPIs: forecast accuracy, procurement lead time, OTIF delivery, inventory turnover, logistics cost, etc.
  • Support strategic decision-making through regular supply chain insights.
