KNOWLEDGE:

  • Sound understanding and experience of primary healthcare

SKILLS:

  • Have excellent writing, reporting and analytical skills

  • Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications

  • Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are other pre-requisites

Responsibilities & Context:

To reduce burden of SARI ITCs, COVID 19 and other Patients with mild to moderate symptoms in the Rohingya Camps will be treated at their home. Nurse will be responsible to provide home based care to this category of patients. With the support of Community Health Workers, she/he will monitor the status of the patient and will take necessary decision and facilitate referral to SARI ITC.

  • Guide Community Health workers to reach and follow up patients

  • Depending on the status of the patient, provide directions by conducting further assessment of the patient in his/her home.

  • Take decision and facilitate referral for critical patients and follow up

  • Linkages to other services and sectors like; MHPSS, GBV, Child Protection, WASH, shelter, nutrition through site management

  • Ensure Daily reporting of cases

  • Monitoring of Community Health workers

  • On job support of Community Health workers for providing quality home based care for COVID 19 and other Patients with Mild to moderate symptoms

  • Coordinate with CiC, Camp Health Focal, Site Management and Others Health Providers in camp area

  • Conducts regular monitoring of the programme and provides report

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
