Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any reputed university.
∎ Technical qualification on Textile/ Fashion Design will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is that of Senior Merchandiser (Knit & Woven) and the incumbent is responsible for overall activities and outcome of an assigned segment of business account with absolute integrity and honesty:
∎ Costing and confirmation of price, placement of orders, etc of all Knit & Woven product.
∎ Must have very good knowledge of garments (Knit & Woven).
∎ Must have understanding of fabric terms (Knowledge of all types particularly Knit & Woven fabrics).
∎ Should have adequate knowledge of Knit & Woven washing techniques.
∎ Should have merchandising knowledge on Knit & Woven and various Knit & Woven washes along with costing.
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Monitor opening of BTB- LC's (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 34 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
∎ Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage, very good communication skills both spoken and written in English and Bangla, ability to speak any other language will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
