Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Objectives:
∎ To improve nutritional status and enhance food security of FDMN Camp, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ To enhance access to food during all emergency situations
∎ To improve market linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities` small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Outcome:
∎ Increased food security, Save life, Reduced malnutrition and to end hunger.
∎ Output:
∎ The most vulnerable households in refugee camps and makeshift camps in Cox`s Bazar received general food assistance through e-vouchers based on needs.
∎ Improved Market Linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities` small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Enhanced access to food during emergency as part of Rapid Response (in-kind and hot meals)
∎ Project duration: 01 January, 2022 to 31 December, 2022 (Possibility to extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Ensure that monitoring incorporates and consider aspects at output, process, context, and outcome levels for assigned tasks and that appropriate data collection and reporting tools are developed and used.
∎ Prepare survey questionnaire deploy in KOBO, lead data collection, analysis and prepare draft report and submit to Programme Manager for finalization.
∎ Conduct effective monitoring through planned field visits and utilization of field monitors and report the findings.
∎ Ensure a master beneficiary database is developed for each assigned project and is updated regularly.
∎ With the close support from PM, ensure a master indicator database is developed for all assigned tasks and is updated regularly.
∎ Prepare monthly M&E plans and corresponding reports covering work completed for the period under review and ensuring that key performance indicators are captured.
∎ Design, conduct and report on post distribution/ implementation/ monitoring/end to end verification surveys as required.
∎ Through consult with PM, determine research needs, develop ToRs, follow-up consultants and research teams; undertaking capacity building activities for staff and other stakeholders with a view to improve monitoring and Evaluation.
∎ Where required, provide training and coaching to staff in data collection and analysis.
∎ With the close support of PM, develop and strengthen planning, monitoring and evaluation procedures and systems.
∎ Support PM for design and roll-out of the M&E and overall strategy for the programme, including log frame design and budgeting for M&E accordance with donor guidelines.
∎ Support to assign programme teams in monitoring the quality of activities (using checklists, community feedback, and other monitoring tools).
∎ Conduct field monitoring visits to monitor overall progress on achievement of results and provide suggestions/feedback to programme team based on findings
∎ Additional tasks:
∎ Update the Monthly indicator progress tracker and monthly activity tracking sheet.
∎ Update monthly report as per the requirement of donors.
∎ Support Programme Manager in preparation of donor reporting by providing information coming from monitoring findings and data collected from field staff in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure that projects have a system to track information produced to help report to donors and the management.
∎ Assist the team in developing a responsive, functional, and appropriate feed backing mechanism which can improve current project implementation and guide future programming.
∎ Gathered learning through specific analysis, best practices, lessons learned, and reports.
∎ Capture the challenges of the project and the way of overcoming in regular basis.
∎ Assist program personnel in improving learning and sharing mechanisms in their projects.
∎ Perform any other tasks as requested by the Programme Manager.
∎ Comply with YPSA policies and practice with respect to PSEA, child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Ensures best practices in Gender Mainstreaming, PSEA, Protection and Accountability to Affected Population in the GFA programme.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At most 4 year(s) relevant experience in NGO/INGO
∎ Age limit up to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 4 years of professional experience preferably with NGO/INGOs in relevant work experience in humanitarian programs and emergency response contexts.
∎ Preference will be given to prior experience holder in General Food Assistance program.
∎ Should have experience in Monitoring & Evaluation e.g. log frame development, indicator tracking, donor reporting, PDM, Accountability report etc.
∎ Experience in Open Data Kit (ODK) (Survey CTO/Kobo) and other relevant data collection software.
∎ Strong skills in excel and other data management software.
∎ Demonstrated ability in community mobilization and community-level dialogue.
∎ Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Self-motivation, creativity, and an ability to perform without close supervision.
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
∎ Knowledge of Chittagonian language is an advantage.

Salary: Tk. 90000 (Monthly)
