Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire washing and dyeing processes to meet color accuracy and quality requirements set by international buyers.
∎ Drive plant performance to meet profitability targets through effective planning and operational control.
∎ Evaluate and manage manpower productivity to ensure optimal resource utilization and reduce labor costs.
∎ Implement initiatives to reduce chemical consumption by at least 20%, aligning with industry cost benchmarks.
∎ Lead continuous process improvement efforts to increase efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
∎ Coordinate with the wash planner to execute a successful and efficient wash ladder strategy.
∎ Ensure re-wash rates remain below 10% of total output by strengthening first-pass quality.
∎ Maintain full documentation control from order initiation to delivery for traceability and process improvement.
∎ Organize and participate in meetings with buyers/customers to align on project status, sample approvals, and future developments.
∎ Monitor the first production batches for adherence to buyer quality requirements.
∎ Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
∎ Ensure timely requisition and in-house availability of raw materials (RM) for washing.
