Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ * Minimum 15 years of experience in garment production within the apparel manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing large-scale production teams.
∎ * Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing, as well as an understanding of industry standards and best practices.
∎ * Proven experience in production planning, resource management, and optimizing manufacturing workflows.
∎ * Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, drive performance, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ * Oversee all aspects of garment production, ensuring schedules are met, production targets are achieved, and output is optimized. Monitor the entire production process from raw material handling to finished product delivery.
∎ * Lead, mentor, and manage production supervisors, operators, and technical staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement within the production team.
∎ * Ensure all products meet the required quality standards by overseeing quality control checks throughout the production process. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any defects or issues and implement corrective actions.
∎ * Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with company goals. Work closely with the planning and sourcing teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
∎ * Manage inventory levels of raw materials, accessories, and finished goods to ensure optimal production flow. Coordinate with procurement to ensure smooth material flow without stockouts or overstock situations.
∎ * Monitor production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, and ensure that production is conducted within budget. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
∎ * Ensure the implementation of health and safety regulations and procedures in the production area. Promote a safe working environment and address any safety concerns or risks.
∎ * Track production metrics, including efficiency, output, and quality, and report on progress to senior management. Use data driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize production processes.
∎ * Work closely with other departments, including maintenance, logistics, design, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production operations and resolve any issues that arise.
