Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the support to programs in preparation of logical frameworks and align with program objectives and BRAC strategy.
∎ Lead the support for developing appropriate M&E system for the organization and the programs
∎ Demonstrate at organization level the benefits of using the learning from M&E across the programs
∎ Contribute to strategic planning of Monitoring department and update Monitoring Plan
∎ Prepare development programs monitoring workplan jointly with programs and support in implementation
∎ Conduct and supervise DQA of programs and recommend for improvement
∎ Monitor outputs and outcomes of various programs and support evidence generation
∎ Ensure data analysis of various studies is done following a standard methodology and focused on results
∎ Ensure action-oriented monitoring reports are shared on time and with the right audience
∎ Encourage data based decision making by programs based on monitoring reports as well as program MISs
∎ Follow up of program action plans against recommendations and ensure any support required thereof
∎ Strive for a common understanding of various programmatic and M&E terms being used in various programs
∎ Update the design of the monitoring dashboard for showing regular results for various indicators and proper project management
∎ Conduct monthly field visits at least 30% per month for observing actual vs planned
∎ Oversee capture of data into computer-based databases and application systems
∎ Capacity development of monitoring staff: need assessment, planning, conduct training, follow up.
∎ Jointly conduct reflection and learning sessions regularly with the various Programs
∎ Arrange for proper archiving and use of learnings
∎ Provide necessary technical support to the Analysts in designing monitoring tools, data analysis and report writing
∎ Ensure indirect supervision of respective field level staffs.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 08 years of working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in any national/ international development organization with at least 5 years of experience in managerial position. Recent experience with international development organizations/projects will be a plus
∎ In-depth knowledge in monitoring and its techniques
∎ Report writing skills
∎ Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SPSS
∎ Ability to visit field frequently
∎ Strong strategic and people management skills
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills
