Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should be graduate (preferably in Textile/Apparel)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 20 to 25 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ About 20-25 years of relevant work experience in production merchandising of which at least 7-10 years should have been in managerial capacity with a leading European buying office.
∎ Candidate should have experience managing about 25 team members handling merchandising operations of an upmarket retailer/brand with a turnover more than USD 100mn.
∎ Candidate should have sound technical knowledge of knits, wovens and flat knits and should be able to oversee and guide a team and provide solutions to engineer product to achieve the required target prices.
∎ Candidate should have a leadership record of developing team members and guiding factories in improving merchandising performance.
∎ A proven track record in terms of key performance indicators of delivery reliability and short/ over shipment rate is a must and candidate should be able to develop new business while ensuring seamless execution of running orders.
∎ Computer proficiency and effective communication skill in English is essential.
