Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Market & Business Expansion: Identify potential markets and opportunities to develop a strong buyer network.
∎ Buyer Management: Maintain communication with buyers for pricing, order confirmation, negotiation, and order follow-up.
∎ Market & Competitor Analysis: Collect and assess market data to inform strategy and boost business growth.
∎ Resource Coordination: Oversee sourcing of jute, fabrics, and accessories, ensuring timely availability for sampling and production.
∎ Order Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order processing, from production to shipment.
∎ Operational Excellence: Implement long-term strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
∎ Team Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to align with buyer trends and needs.
∎ Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a consistent flow of materials, addressing delays promptly.
∎ Sample Development: Oversee sample production based on market trends and customer requests.
∎ Factory & Supplier Evaluation: Assess production facilities and negotiate prices to optimize order placement.
∎ Team Leadership & Compliance: Guide team members on compliance and support recruitment efforts to strengthen the merchandising team.
∎ Target Achievement: Drive the team to meet business targets, ensuring timely, quality shipments.
