Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in finance/ accounting or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university/ institutions.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions
∎ Review financial documents for accuracy
∎ Maintain records and prepare transfer requests
∎ Monitor project expenses, and ensure that that financial and administrative functions of the field offices are carried out within the framework of BRAC and FCDO policies and procedures
∎ Analyze accounting and financial data, preparing financial narrative reports, and workload flow charts, etc.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the Programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years of experience in the relevant field is required. Candidates having experience to work in emergency reponse programme will get preference.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Thorough knowledge and understanding of professional accounting principles, theories, practices, and terminology (private sector, governmental, and nonprofit) and an ability to understand accounting practices and procedures
∎ Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with accounting and non-accounting individuals
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft programs i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., and the ability to use various commercially available accounting software programs.
∎ Ability to work in a team and to sometimes tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
∎ Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team, flexibility and multi-taskin
