Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters from any discipline in Social Science/ Science/ Education from any reputed university with minimum second class in all exams/CGPA 2.5 and above or equivalent.

∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination for developing teaching learning materials (Teachers' Guides and Training Manuals) with Rohingya contextualization and lead the team for completion materials on scheduled time.Review teaching learning materials and take necessary initiatives for implementing all the materials effectively and successfully in the field through rigorous classroom visit and simulation of teaching.
∎ Take the challenges in identifying the barriers and finding out the solution measures during teaching material development.
∎ Plan for field test of materials and also plan, organise, and conduct workshops and facilitate orientations.
∎ Provide technical support to the field operation team to implement adolescent activities.
∎ Communication and collaboration with material developers, graphic designers & illustrator, translators, NGO personnel of different levels.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the projects' goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the higher authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in developing educational materials preferably related to Rohingya/ primary/ secondary will be given preference and Candidates have previous work experiences of BRAC will be given preference.
∎ Experience Requirement: Minimum 05 years' experience in the development sector. Working experience in Education-life skills /Education in emergencies in designing and planning teaching learning materials for the children from primary to secondary level. Candidates have previous work experiences of BRAC will be given preference.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ KNOWLEDGE:
∎ Sound knowledge of science education for developing teaching and learning materials for primary and secondary levels.
∎ Sound knowledge of education system of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
∎ Good understanding of Rohingya context.
∎ SKILLS:
∎ Good materials development skills blending science concept and participatory teaching methods in primary and secondary levels.
∎ Good oral and writing skills both Bangla and English.
∎ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Computer skills: MS-Word, MS-excel, PowerPoint etc.
∎ COMPETENCIES:
∎ Good in teamwork and is dependable for completion of assigned task.
∎ Effective decision-making skills for any type of concern.
∎ Good communication among team members and management authorities
∎ Capacity to lead the science team for development of teaching and learning materials.
