Chemical Industries, HVAC System, Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing. optimizing and improving products performances and technologies according to competitor's product and customer's feedback.
∎ Executing necessary physical and chemical tests and analyses.
∎ Working with project management structures.
∎ Maintaining and building close contacts with customers, suppliers and markets in order to translate trends and opportunities into product or technology development.
∎ Close collaboration with sales. purchasing. operations and marketing.
∎ Maintain existing products, modified products and water based adhesive/ sealant/ coating cleaner formulations and support products with those technologies through the manufacturing process. product performance and quality.
∎ Upgrade existing adhesive. tape. sealant. coating and water proofing products to improve quality. process ability. or performance. to replace new materials or reduce costs.
∎ Solve factory and field problems to maintain the high quality and performance of existing adhesive. tape. sealant and coating products.
∎ Provide technical assistance to Technical Service. Sales. Marketing and Production. This includes field support to representative. distributors. any field sales. applicators. architects. building owners and other customers as needed.
∎ Focus on sealant and water based adhesives. coatings and sealant chemistries_ Development may include preparing and testing experimental formulations in the lab as well as in the factory or field to evaluate performance.
∎ Remain abreast of technical advances in adhesives, tapes. sealants and coatings, waterproofing systems, HVAC systems and environmental issues that may impact product development activities.
∎ Run factory trials. select and evaluate alternate sources of raw materials, write purchasing specifications, material data sheets, technical data bulletins and product labels.
∎ Demonstrated strong business acumen with an understanding of the market and financial implications of new product development processes

∎ This requires knowledge of Adhesive, Tapes, Sealants, Coatings, Waterproofing Systems, HVAC systems, various industrial and state-of-the-art adhesive and rubber processing technologies and Cleaners.
∎ Also requires knowledge of current product technologies: which includes various asphalt, bitumen and water-based emulsions and dispersions.
∎ Should be a savvy business and people leader who is both decisive and possesses the ability- to monetize, technology and product development.
∎ Should have a track record of strategic technology development. utilizing people effectively and managing tightly against performance metrics that arc highly visible.
∎ Most importantly, he must have a track record of getting technology from concept through development and production. and into the market in a strategic, economical, timely and predictable manner.
∎ Expertise in core technologies in specialty materials. coatings. adhesives. printing systems and software.
∎ Broad business skills beyond purely R&D with experience in a customer facing. streamlining business processes or business strategy role such as marketing. general management or business planning.
∎ Familiarity with patent and intellectual property issues and ability to coordinate, as appropriate with the legal team.
