Educational Requirements:

∎ Project Title & duration: MAITREE Project & December 01, 2019 to January 2023, Senior Finance & Admin Officer will be recruited for the period from 01 January 2022 to 31 January 2023.
∎ Working area/location:Maitree Project, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ To whom the employee shall report: Program Manager, Maitree Project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for financial management of Maitree project accounts and budgets in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. Work in close consultation with the Project Manager, monitor the programme budgets and ensure accurate accounting, authorization and internal control procedures, identify and address significant variances. Ensure all expenses are justified with necessary supporting documentation according to Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) policies and procedures. Control and ensure payments are issued against invoices from suppliers, vendors and/or third parties on time (either in cheque or cash). Maintain petty cash as per organization's policy on petty cash management. Responsible for bookkeeping in the Tally system; preparing monthly/Quarterly financial reports including eligibility of expenses, prior approval and compliance with project agreements/grant letters and other policies and procedures. Ensure that the working advances to the Partner NGO/staff are cleared according to the ASK financial regulations. Assist in carry out month/year end closing procedures and reporting in line with requirements. Manage accounts and correspondence with bank (Cash withdrawal, deposits, cheque book request, cheques for clearance, account opening and closing, signatory changes). Provide support and coordinate internal & external audits as required. Besides, s/he will also be responsible for maintaining communication and coordination with the RRRC and CIC and for maintaining communication with the DC office regarding taking respective permissions.
∎ The Senior Finance and Admin Officer is also responsible to manage tasks related to administration, documentation, resources management, government affairs; Manage admin relating to programme operations, meetings, trainings, events; Manage admin relating to travel of staff and visitors: visa, tickets, arranging transfer/fleet and accommodation arrangements; Plan and arrange meetings, workshops and training courses, seminars, obtaining permits and authorization as assigned; Responsible to distribute all incoming and outgoing mail/faxes/letters and documents of the organization; Ensuring the office and accommodation are maintained and cleaned to a high standard.

∎ Consolidated monthly salary BDT 60,000 /-. Other benefits will be applicable as per ASK Policy.
