∎ Depth knowledge on different types of Routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, static, default, etc)
∎ Depth knowledge on different types of network service,e Vlan, vtp, bonding, Tunnel, IPSec, pptp, L2TP, Bridge.
∎ Depth knowledge in different types of Server (DNS, Nfs, iSCSI, ERP, NTP, Cacti, file server, FTP, Web Server)
∎ Depth knowledge of different types of enterprise wireless solutions. (Unifi, cambium, cisco)
∎ Good knowledge of load balance and failover (Internet & data).
∎ Good knowledge in Different types of firewall (Fortigate, zyxel, Cisco, sophos, Palo Alto)
∎ Good knowledge in Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet, firewall, bdcom, zyxel, etc.
∎ Skills Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist with designing, testing, and performing upgrades to the installed Network operation.
∎ Under general direction, install, configure, and maintain network hardware and associated software.
∎ Assist in Planning, design, & Implement and maintainthe emergency backup and restore systems for the mission-critical network.
∎ Assist in resolving service-related issues and recommend solutions
∎ Perform defined processes and practices to manage network systems to ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet business needs
∎ Assist with developing processes and procedures to operate and manage network efficiency
∎ Provide escalated user support; troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate as necessary
∎ Maintain reliability of networks by performing monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting
∎ Work with Office of Information Security to monitor threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities for installed systems; implement response plan for various types of threats and attacks; collect and analyze information regarding security breaches and anomalies
∎ Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot security devices; manage firewall rules
∎ Collaborate with vendors on the implementation of upgrades and/or escalate and troubleshoot complex network issues or problems
∎ Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by leveraging scripting, automation, or other process improvements
∎ Context:
∎ This position will be part of the Group IT Network Operations team. In this role, the incumbent will assist and participate in the ongoing maintenance of the Network. Participate as a team member in a collaborative environment within a diverse workforce; actively contribute to completion of team goals and assigned tasks. Follow recommended approach to assigned work to facilitate achievement of desired results.
