• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• The incumbent must be a B. Sc engineer in (Mechanical)/ Diploma in mechanical engineering

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG),Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Group of Companies

• 5-6 years working experience in metal can manufacturing & must have a good knowledge about production & maintenance.
• Must have leadership qualities, initiative, drive, self-motivation and capabilities to properly supervise activities of employees working under this post.
• Must have good command over both Bangla and English.
• Computer literacy and programming knowledge is essential.
• Relaxation may be made in an exceptionally suitable case.

JOB Context:

This position is responsible for run smooth production of HPC line, RC line & component line through quality control, increase productivity, development machine & equipment, lead & make plan to install new project & help maintenance department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for run smooth production of HPC line, RC line & component line
• Take charge of quality control activities & ensure zero wastage in line.
• Prepare monthly production schedule & review it weekly, it may change or reschedule to meet target.
• Supervise corrective & preventive maintenance (electrical & mechanical) activities in collaboration with Maintenance Department.
• Closely work with maintenance & store department for spare parts availability.
• Assign & control responsibilities of subordinates discussing with In charge.
• Follow up duties of the floor/ production officer time to time so that production is going as per achieve target.
• Prepare daily production report & send it to Head office
• Raise raw materials consumption calculation & requisition accordingly
• Supervise cleaning activities of his area.
• Confirm QC of RM & PM & give QC certificate in collaboration with QC officer
• Prepare Raw material requisition, handover & return & send the same to store department through proper channel.
• Develop system to improve productivity, machine utilization, material consumption & people skill.
• Keep liaison with various department such as store, SCM, maintenance & Admin etc
• Perform department administrative activities with the help of admin.
• Discharge such other functions may be assigned to this post from time to time by higher authority.
• Discharge all functions under direct control & supervision of the in-charge (MPU).
