Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and modify garment patterns using Gerber, Optitex and Boke CAD systems based on design and technical requirements.
- The candidate should possess knowledge of marketing and bulk consumption.
- Prepare accurate and cost-effective marker planning to ensure minimal fabric wastage.
- Digitize, grade, and make pattern corrections as per buyer comments or production feedback.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, sampling, and production teams to understand requirements and provide pattern solutions.
- Ensure pattern consistency and fit across various sizes and styles.
- Support sampling and production by providing accurate technical packs and pattern layouts.
- Maintain pattern libraries and CAD data systematically.
- Troubleshoot CAD issues and provide technical support within the team.
- Stay updated with software upgrades and industry pattern-making techniques.
