Job Context:
∎ Will assist the Chief Executive Officer in sales.
∎ We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive/Asst Manager. A candidate who is dynamic, highly motivated, reliable, and who understands and appreciates the importance of a team effort.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contact regular and prospective customers to generate new business
∎ Develop and maintain a customer base by cold calling on freight forwarding business opportunities.
∎ Offer logistics solutions to customers including ocean import, air import, ocean export, air export, distribution & and warehousing, LTL transportation, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage.
∎ Maintain business relationships with accounts and develop new opportunities.
∎ Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, objectives, goals, and targeted revenue generation.
∎ Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
∎ Maintain consistent communication with internal departments and overseas offices.
∎ Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.
∎ Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Skills Required: Computer skill, Sales & Marketing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping.
∎ Minimum 1-5 years sales experience in relevant field.
∎ Experience from a MLO/ NVOCC/ Freight Forwarding sales background is preferred.
∎ Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance and procurement of new accounts.
∎ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization skills.
∎ Must enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.
∎ Knowledge on MS Office is must.
