• Proven experience managing mission-critical, enterprise-scale production systems.
• Additional Requirements
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, Firewalls)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulated environments
• Ability to work independently and handle critical operational responsibilities

Job Context

We are responsible for operating and maintaining multiple mission-critical enterprise systems for an important public authority designated as a National Key Point (NKP) installation. These systems support high-volume, regulated, and business-critical operations and rely heavily on Oracle database platforms.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in managing and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure, cloud platforms, and deployment pipelines. The position requires strong hands-on expertise in system engineering, automation, security, and CI/CD practices to ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and reliability of critical systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud and on‑premise infrastructure

• Administer and support Linux-based servers, virtual machines, containers, and storage systems

• Build, manage, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar

• Manage containerisation and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Monitor system performance, availability, logs, and security events

• Ensure high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies

• Support and optimise Oracle database environments in collaboration with DBA teams

• Enforce security best practices, access control, and system hardening standards

• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis

• Maintain clear and up-to-date infrastructure and operational documentation

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
