∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 5 years of professional experience in project implementation, preferably in sustainable agriculture, food system, agro-ecology, and market & value chain development related project.
∎ Proven experience in team leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
∎ Good analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
∎ Clear understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
∎ Experience working with government agencies and local communities in Bangladesh in an asset.
∎ Practical knowledge and experiences on IEC/BCC materials development.
∎ Can be relaxed for the candidates with 5 years’ experience on sustainable agriculture, food system, agro-ecology and market & value chain development related projects.
∎ Knowledge of agroecology, safe production, climate change adaptation, water management, and agriculture in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Have analytical ability including data analysis, data visualization and presentation.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali languages is essential.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure coordination and communication between project personnel, project partners and stakeholders, local authority as well as local administration.
∎ Ensure overall collaboration, coordination and networking with different Government organizations, Research institutes and private sector organizations etc.
∎ Ensure required assistance to field staffs and community resource persons as and when needed for successful implementation of the program.
∎ Develop and implement the projects/programs work plan, ensuring efficient and timely execution of project activities.
∎ Monitor and track projects/programs progress against objectives and indicators, identifying and addressing any challenges or deviations of different projects/program.
∎ Liaise with relevant government agencies and local communities to facilitate projects/programs implementation.
∎ Prepare regular progress reports, financial statement/reports, and other required documents.
∎ Represent the projects/programs at meetings, workshops, and other events.
∎ Tracking project budget expenditure for ensuring sound financial management practices.
∎ Identify and implement strategies to ensure projects/programs sustainability beyond the project period.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by WAVE management.
∎ Liaise regularly with donor representatives to strengthen collaboration on and facilitate project implementation.

WAVE Foundation is seeking qualified candidate for the position of the ‘Senior Coordinator’ in it’s Agri-Food System Transformation program.
∎ Job Summary
∎ The Program Officer will be overall responsible for the coordination and collaboration with responsible persons of different projects/program under Agri-Food System Transformation program as per the instruction of the Assistant Director of this program and also assist in program planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring, and information compilation. He/she will communicate with the project staffs and ensure necessary assistance in time within the framework of the project. He/She will also be responsible for liaison with Government, Non-government and private sectors, assist in conducting monthly, quarterly review meetings and joint field visits including reporting, documentation and case story writing.
∎ Workplace: Work at WAVE Foundation Head Office with frequent field visit (at least 60% of time)
