∎ Master's degree in any subject of Agricultural Science (Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries). Preference will be given the candidates with a Master's degree in any subject of Livestock.
∎ At least 4 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in sustainable agriculture, food system, agro-ecology, market & value chain development and advocacy related project.
∎ Proven experience in team leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
∎ Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
∎ Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
∎ Experience working with government agencies and local communities in Bangladesh in an asset.
∎ Practical knowledge and experiences on IEC/BCC materials development.

∎ Fluency in English and Bengali languages is essential.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide overall leadership and management for different projects/program under Agri-Food System Transformation program.
∎ Ensure overall coordination and communication between project partner, local authority as well as local administration.
∎ Ensure overall collaboration, coordination and networking with different Government organizations, Research institutes and private sector organizations etc.
∎ Ensure required technical assistance to field staff and community resource persons as and when needed for successful implementation of the program.
∎ Develop and implement the projects/programs work plan, ensuring efficient and timely execution of activities.
∎ Oversee the performance of the WAVE-PMU team, including program, Finance & Admin, Monitoring.
∎ Monitor and track projects/programs progress against objectives and indicators, identifying and addressing any challenges or deviations of different projects/program.
∎ Ensure efficient coordination with WAVE management and other stakeholders.
∎ Liaise with relevant government agencies and local communities to facilitate projects/programs implementation.
∎ Prepare regular progress reports, financial reports, and other required documents.
∎ Represent the projects/programs at meetings, workshops, and other events.
∎ Manage project budget and ensure sound financial management practices.
∎ Identify and implement strategies to ensure projects/programs sustainability beyond the project period.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by WAVE Management.

WAVE Foundation is seeking qualified candidate for the position of the ‘Senior Coordinator’ in it’s Agri-Food System Transformation program.
∎ Job Summary
∎ The Senior Coordinator will be overall responsible for the coordination of different projects/program under Agri-Food System Transformation program and also effective management including planning, supervision, monitoring and evaluation. The senior coordinator will manage the overall projects/program implementation and meets the donor’s compliance. He/she will supervise all the project staffs and ensure timely completion of all project intervention within the framework of the project. He/She will also be responsible for finance and programme planning, liaison with Government, Non-govt and private sectors, conduct monthly, quarterly review meetings and joint field visits including reporting, documentation and case story writing. The senior coordinator will coordinate and provide regular reports to the different development partners as per the requirements.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile phone and Travel allowance will be provided as per the project budgetary provision.
