Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/Masters' degree in relevant subject e.g., Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, international development master's and/or equivalent relevant work experience

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Type of contract: Expatriate or national contract
∎ Employment Band: G1
∎ Start date: As soon as possible

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of humanitarian work in field locations
∎ Experience in Disaster Management and Disaster Risk Reduction.
∎ Minimum 3 years' professional work experience in camp management and/or site management.
∎ Experience in site development, site improvement, infrastructure and site planning and crisis management desirable.
∎ Proven experience in Emergency Preparedness Planning and Coordination
∎ Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations with all cadres of staff and stakeholders
∎ Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision
∎ Well-developed diplomatic skills but able to represent all constituents for the betterment of the conditions of the refugees
∎ Experience working in the Cox's Bazar Rohingya Response
