Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Genetics
• Master of Science (MSc) in Botany

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Plan, organize, and supervise overall laboratory operations.

• Set annual production targets for disease-free seed potato (G0/G1) plantlets and ensure achievement.

• Select disease-free mother stock and initiate meristem/nodal cultures.

• Prepare and optimize MS medium (Murashige & Skoog) with appropriate plant growth regulators.

• Supervise virus indexing through ELISA/PCR-based diagnostic techniques.

• Implement contamination prevention and control strategies.

• Maintain batch-wise quality certification and traceability records.

• Oversee greenhouse acclimatization and hardening processes.

• Coordinate with breeder/foundation seed programs and field trial teams.

• Collaborate with national and international research institutions.

• Manage laboratory chemicals, media components, and consumables.

• Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment (Autoclave, Laminar Air Flow, Growth Chamber).

• Monitor budget utilization and optimize production cost efficiency.

• Maintain production records, batch documentation, and traceability systems.

• Ensure compliance with biosafety, aseptic protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
