Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) is implementing a sub-project under Program Based Research Grant (PBRG) titled "Food-based initiative for improving household food security, income generation and minimize malnutrition" in Khagrachari Hill District funded by PIU-BARC, NATP-2. The goal of the sub-project is to Improvement of nutrition status of the rural poor with especial reference to vulnerable children and women through food-based eco-friendly initiatives attaining household food security, nutrition.
∎ Job Duration: Up to 30 June 2021

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and management of field operational activities.
∎ Implement and execute the sub-project activities at field level as per operational plan.
∎ Frequently field visit and ensure the target of the sub-project as per logical framework.
∎ Ensure the technological intervention for research and development.
∎ Monitoring nutritional status and collection data & information of selected households.
∎ Monitoring and supervision of field and office staff.
∎ Organize and facilitate training, group/yard meeting, awareness campaigning, etc.
∎ Maintain liaison with the officials of DAE, DLS, DoF, BARI, BINA, BSRI and other GOs and NGOs related to the sub-project at Khagrachari.
∎ Develop entrepreneurship and marketing linkage.
∎ Prepare different reports such as half yearly, annual, etc.
∎ Any other task assign by the authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 3 years practical working experience at field level in any National/International Organization.
∎ Experience in research and development on nutrition as well as farming system will give preference.
∎ Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Strong computer skills including internet navigation and office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, power point) and must have sound knowledge in the use of Excel spreadsheets in necessary.

Salary:
∎ The consolidated Salary is BDT 35,300.00 per month.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival bonus, Bangla New Year bonus, gratuity, TA/DA, etc. will be paid as per provision of the sub-project. Income tax will deduct at source.
