Job Context:
∎ BRIEF: We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and experienced candidates to lead a team of sales executives in North, South & East Bengal to help our crop protection business. The position will guide the team to meet sales & collection target of the respective territory. The position shall also be responsible to develop the skills and knowledge of the team through regular training interventions and learning programs. The job promises of good earnings potential, training & support, professional development & career advancement opportunities. Domestic relocation assistance may be offered to deserving candidates as per company policy.

∎ Job Location: North Bengal, East Bengal, South Bengal.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulate sales plan & lead the sales team as per plan
∎ Responsible for achieving sales and collection target in territory
∎ Season wise budget planning, monitoring and achievement
∎ Plan distribution network (manage existing & appoint new channel partners)
∎ Improve brand image, customer experience at point of sales.
∎ Monitor performance of sales team based on KPI
∎ Develop secured collection system
∎ Represent company at local events & manage local regulatory concerns
∎ Plan & execute product promotion, launch etc.
∎ Maintain relationship with key stakeholders like DAE, Research Institutes etc.
∎ LEVEL OF ACCOUNTABILITY
∎ Delivery of sales target as per sales plan with minimum variance
∎ Full responsibility for profit and loss of the territory
∎ Accurate sales forecasting, credit control & delivery as per sales plan
∎ Effectively manage due and overdue collection targets as per company policy.
∎ Develop a high performance sales team
∎ Regular and timely reporting along pre-defined formats to management
∎ Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the financial health of the territory
∎ Adhere to company compliance guidelines, policy and procedures.
∎ Trade network management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 08-10 years (at least 3 years in specific position).
∎ Highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty & strong work ethic.
∎ Prior experience of leading a sales team in a complex & fast paced industry
∎ Sound knowledge in rural pesticides market, crops-pest-solutions etc.
∎ Broad knowledge on crop production, active ingredients, farm practices (MUST)
∎ Plan & lead promotional activities for demand generation of key products
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills (leadership quality, dependable, sprit of teamwork etc.)
∎ Strong negotiation & networking capabilities
∎ Excellent written & verbal communication skills (Bengali & English)
∎ Good presentation skills
∎ Supervisory & Team building skill
∎ Good analytical skills and command on Microsoft Office
∎ Deep understanding of retail and wholesale pesticide landscape in respective region.
