Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Drive sales for dates, fruits, and spices through new customer acquisition and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Identify potential markets and business opportunities in the dates, fruits, and spices (retail, wholesale, distribution, etc.).
∎ Develop in-depth knowledge of the products (dates, fruits, and spices), including their origins, varieties, quality standards, and health benefits.
∎ Present products to potential customers, providing information on product features, pricing, and availability.
∎ Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends in the dates, fruits, and spices industry.
∎ Monitor competitor activities and analyze the performance of similar products in the market.
∎ Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
∎ Analyse sales reports to evaluate performance and make adjustments as needed.
∎ Regularly track and report on sales performance to senior management.
∎ Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery.
∎ Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
∎ Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with customers.
∎ Provide pricing quotes based on customer orders, budget constraints, and market conditions.
∎ Work closely with the logistics and inventory team to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand.
∎ Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely restocking.
∎ Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and feedback.
∎ Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
