Job Context:
∎ BRIEF: The applicants should have sound knowledge in area(s) of Accounts and Finance, Business Planning and Budgeting, Cost & Management Accounting, Banking etc. Past work experience in crop protection industry will be a plus. We are looking for applicants with good oral and written communication skills. The position requires an individual who is reliable, honest, self-motivated & has good commercial awareness. Excellent problem solving, analytical, IT skills and numerical abilities are crucial to guide the team.

∎ Position: Management.
∎ KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR: Performance to be measured based on the candidate`s ability to positively impact the financial health of the organization of meeting key objectives such as operational efficiency, net earnings, cash flow, accounts receivable, liquidity etc. The candidate will be judged on development of a system of "financial accountability" across all co-related business functional areas (ex. Sales Department) for the development of a performance driven organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the finance & accounts team of the company & its subsidiaries.
∎ General accounting function (inter-company accounting, cash management etc.)
∎ Lead financial planning like annual budget, working capital & line of credit assessment, import planning, cash flow, schedule earning-expenditure, risk assessment, fund generation etc.
∎ Setting departmental targets to meet financial objectives of the company.
∎ Generation of monthly & quarterly reports for submission to top management on overall business performance through financial analysis
∎ Work with other functional departments to improve operational efficiency
∎ Ensure compliance with respect to trade partners (Agreement, Security checks, Credit Period & Limit etc.)
∎ Periodically monitor inventory of products and present report to management.
∎ Keep track of company imports & maintain good relationship with financial institutions.
∎ Prepare supporting information for external auditor, tax return etc.
∎ Supporting the Directors with special projects and tasks when required.
∎ Prepare monthly VAT and Tax report and submit to the concern offices.
∎ Analysis of sales data to evaluate the profitability of respective territories
∎ Generate territory wise monthly performance report
∎ Monitor all banking activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ 08-12 years; at least 3 years in similar position.
∎ Strong literacy in Tally Software & Microsoft Excel
∎ Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP and statutory requirements
∎ Good understanding on latest VAT & TAX rules
∎ Good knowledge on external & internal audit
∎ Good understanding of shipping documents for imports.
