Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
∎ Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements.
∎ Prepare and post journal entries.
∎ Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
∎ Generate detailed financial reports from QuickBooks for management review.
∎ Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
∎ Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into cost management and profitability.
∎ Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
∎ Assist in preparing tax returns and support external audits.
∎ Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment.
∎ Ensure all payroll taxes and deductions are properly accounted for.
∎ Assist with the implementation of improvements to financial systems and processes.
∎ Respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and tax authorities.
∎ Maintain and file documentation for audits, taxes, and financial records.
∎ Perform other accounting tasks as required.
∎ Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
∎ Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting both Online or Desktop versions is a must.
∎ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations with tax regulations
∎ Experience with Microsoft Excel/Google sheets (Advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Ability to work for extended periods on a computer.
∎ No significant physical demands beyond typical office work.
∎ Ray Advertising is searching for a driven and articulate Accountant/Accounting Specialist to join our team in a WORK FROM HOME opportunity. For this role experience using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting is a MUST.
∎ Shift timings: This role involves a night shift from Monday to Saturday 7pm to 5am BST (this is non-negotiable)

∎ Position Overview:
∎ We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in QuickBooks to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and provide insightful financial analysis for the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, a good understanding of financial regulations, and a proven track record of using QuickBooks to manage accounting processes effectively.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ General Accounting:
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.

∎ Required Qualifications:
∎ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
∎ Experience:
∎ Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
∎ Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting both Online or Desktop versions is a must.
∎ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations with tax regulations
∎ Experience with Microsoft Excel/Google sheets (Advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
