Position Purpose
To lead and manage the Group Banking and Financial Operations of Jamuna Group by maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring efficient management of credit facilities, loans, treasury functions and financial documentation. The role supports the organization’s financial stability through effective cash flow management, financing arrangements, and compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and corporate financial policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for smooth financial operations of the Group.
• Prepare and submit required financial documents, proposals and reports to banks for credit facilities and renewals.
• Monitor and manage company banking transactions including loan disbursement, repayments and interest calculations.
• Ensure proper utilization and compliance of bank credit limits and conditions as per sanction advice.
• Coordinate with different business units of Jamuna Group to manage banking support for operational and project financing.
• Oversee treasury management including cash flow planning, fund allocation and liquidity management.
• Monitor daily bank balances, fund positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to bank liabilities, interest expenses and loan schedules.
• Coordinate with Bangladesh Bank, commercial banks and financial institutions regarding regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of loan agreements, mortgage documents, guarantees, and banking correspondences.
• Support strategic financial planning by analyzing financing options, interest rates and banking structures.
• Work closely with Accounts, Commercial and Supply Chain teams regarding LC opening, import financing, and payment arrangements.
Experience
• Minimum 15–18 years of progressive experience in Finance and Banking Operations.
• Strong experience in corporate banking, credit facilities management and financial negotiations with banks.
• Prior experience working with multiple banking will get preference.
Preferred Skills & Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or Economics from a recognized university.
• MBA in Finance will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh banking systems, Bangladesh Bank regulations and corporate finance practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and financial management skills.
