Responsibilities & Context:
Promote and sell heavy equipment machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, dump trucks, and other construction equipment to corporate and individual clients.
Identify potential customers, including construction companies, contractors, industrial clients, and government organisations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical explanations to customers.
Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalise sales agreements in line with company policies.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
Coordinate with the technical/service team to ensure proper delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collection.
Maintain proper documentation of sales reports, client database, and sales forecasts.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events to expand market presence.
Provide regular feedback to management regarding market trends, customer requirements, and product improvements.
