∎ HSC with 5 years relevant work experience

Job Context:
∎ Job Purpose:
∎ This position will assist in sample preparation, analysis for grain quality parameters, handling chemicals and other activities in the labs. Collect data and prepare reports on grain quality parameters.
∎ This position will be based at the IRRI Country Office Bangladesh and will only be filled in by permanent citizens of Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Purpose:
∎ Support the implementation of grain quality analysis and data collection from different samples.
∎ Oversee the implementation of lab research demonstrations to the partner's organizations.
∎ Assist in planning and conducting lab trainings for the partner organizations.
∎ Engagement:
∎ Monitoring and maintenance of lab activities
∎ Maintain supply inventory to ensure availability of research supplies and materials in the lab
∎ Sample collection from different partners sites and ensure proper cleaning and distribution to concerned partner organizations.
∎ Assist in maintaining records of partners samples and deliverables
∎ Interact with partners, establish and maintain good relationships with them
∎ Assist in organizing lab visits
∎ Delivery:
∎ Collect data from lab research under PPP
∎ Record, compile and encode data for reporting and analysis
∎ Visit project partners site to collect and distribute rice samples and data encoding
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Mandatory:
∎ Has basic knowledge in MS Office programs (Word, Excel and other relevant office programs)
∎ Has experience ingrain quality lab research
∎ Preferred:
∎ Experience in grain quality lab research

Salary:
∎ Basic (23,333 - 47,367) BDT per Month

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Housing Allowance: 30% of base pay per month, Transport Allowance: BDT 12000, Festival Bonus: 2 times each year, Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), Returning Mother Allowance: BDT 2,000 per month for 9 months to female employees post-delivery of a baby to support return to the workplace, Medical insurance coverage: maximum US$16,000/year and other admissible benefits
